`min_id` API parameter behavior
Greetings.
Mastodon documentation describes min_id
parameter to GET /api/v1/notifications
endpoint as follows:
String. Returns results immediately newer than this ID. In effect, sets a cursor at this ID and paginates forward.
As I understand it, returned notifications must have IDs strictly newer than provided (>
, not >=
).
However, when I query my server, it returns notifications with ID newer or equal to provided.
If I read this documentation piece correctly, this is a bug. Otherwise, please define the format that Sharkkey uses for IDs so I can increment them manually.
Thank you.
