Role-based announcements
What feature would you like implemented? Announcements selective to roles; while pertaining the original announcement options - like "don't show for existing users".
Why should we add this feature? Announcements might not be for every user - maybe you want to tell your contributor role about something you're planning just for them, or maybe you're looking to tell users who have moved from the "new user role" to the "regular user role" about some things they may have access to. This is easier done with announcements, then to do countdowns and counts!
